Music was not a place I thought of as feminine therefore, embracing the current level of femininity is an enormous problem. It really was difficult for me to think, "Okay, I can be feminine, soft, and strong and take care of myself without reducing myself." This was something I enjoyed greatly. I loved wearing heels with a dress everyday and also the silky fabric. There was pressure because I'm an older actor as compared to the other actors in Fantastic Beasts. It was a strange feeling during the auditions that there was an immense pressure on me. It seemed like I could be crushed under the weight and break down due to how badly I wanted to be there and how massive this was and then climb on top of it and let it pull me forward. You could spend the whole day walking around exploring coffee shops, museums, and parks. In LA there is a possibility of being lonely, however in London you can take the Tube and are right within the midst of people as well as every other type of human which you can think of is walking through. I love watching the people around me. I'm from the music industry, that is where you're always in the presence of males, and you're sure that there's a real intimacy every day working with guys. The books were a dream to come true for myself. The books that I read on tour were very impressive and enthralling. They're an amazing world to get lost in.
